Privacy Policy

What we collect, why we collect it and the rights you have.

Last updated: 27 October 2026

Who we are

Falafoliva is a vegan Lebanese street food truck based at R. Fábrica de Material de Guerra 1, 1950-128 Lisboa, Portugal. We are responsible for the personal data collected through falafoliva.com. You can reach us at geral@falafoliva.com.

What we collect

  • Contact and franchise enquiries: your name, email address, and, if you give them, your phone number, city and message.
  • Questions to the Fala helper: the text you type, used only to answer you.
  • Technical data: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) kept by our hosting provider for security.
  • Language choice: the language you pick is saved in your own browser (local storage) so the site opens in that language next time. It never leaves your device.

Why we use it

We use your details only to reply to your message, prepare an event or franchise proposal, and keep the website secure. The legal bases are your consent and the steps you ask us to take before a contract (Article 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR), and our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Article 6(1)(f)).

Cookies and tracking

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not track you across other websites. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers. The map on our Find us page is provided by Google Maps, which may set its own cookies when it loads.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. It is only handled by the providers we need to run the website and email (our hosting and email providers). Messages sent through our contact and franchise forms are delivered to our inbox by FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), a form-to-email service. When you order through Uber Eats, Bolt Food or Glovo, those platforms' own privacy policies apply.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless they lead to a contract, in which case we keep them as long as the law requires.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete or move your data, object to its use, or withdraw consent at any time by writing to geral@falafoliva.com. You also have the right to complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the CNPD (www.cnpd.pt).

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
